Oklahoma Beginning Farmer and Rancher Program
Timeline/Calendar
The course consists of all-day Saturday training sessions. Mornings will be focused on classroom instruction, while afternoons will be outside with a focus on hands-on skills.
Participants must choose either a livestock or horticulture track. Each track consists of four sessions. In addition, all participants will be together for the first and final sessions. In total, each person in the workshop will attend six sessions.
The first session everyone must attend is November 12. After a break for the holidays, the course will resume in February.
