The Kerr Center is located at 24456 Kerr Road, just off Highway 271, about four miles southwest of Poteau, Oklahoma. Look for the Kerr Center sign (see photo) on the south side of the road.

From Sallisaw, Oklahoma, on I-40, exit onto highway 59 south, traveling 36 miles to Poteau. Continue on highway 271 through Poteau and south to Kerr Center.

Alternatively, as you enter Poteau, take the Highway 59 by-pass (Cavanal Expressway) to the Highway 271 exit. Turn right (south) and go about four miles. Turn onto Kerr Road just before Kerr Center sign.

From McAlester, Oklahoma, highway 69. Take US 270 East through Wilburton, Red Oak and Fanshawe. When highway 271 joins 270, continue east/northeast through Wister. Kerr Center is located two-three miles beyond Wister. Watch for Kerr Center sign on right and turn onto Kerr Road just after passing sign.
