Barbara Chester

Having been with the organization since the agricultural program started in 1965, Barbara officially retired in 2007. She continues to serve on the Kerr Center Board of Trustees as a corporate officer and occasionally works part-time as executive assistant to the president.

Barbara and her husband Glendon are parents of two grown daughters. They enjoy spending time with their daughters, sons-in-law, grandchildren and a host of other relatives and friends. They are active in the Gideon Ministry and serve as teachers of young children in their church.

Barbara’s hobbies include reading, traveling, African violets and yard work.
